Pimp my Google Adsense Gift (english)vom 17.12.2006 Successfull Adsense publishers this year recieved a gift from Google again: A digital frame for photos, videos and music. It can be perfectly modified.
After I uploaded some of my photos and watched them, I had the idea to picture more current information. Why shouldn't you be able to show individual information just in time? For example visitors of a website, adsense earnings and so on.
In short I developed a small application that scrapes my counters from the internet. Who knows me, already knows that I need these information for my hardware counter netBubbles anyway :-)
The actual counter reading is readout and converted into a picture. This file is automatically transferred to the digital picture frame via USB. Every 10 seconds I see the actual reading of my daily/monthly visitors or visits - depends on the configuration - on the 3.6 inch monitor.
I tinkered a little more, you can also show news from rss feeds, screenshots, rankings extraced from serps, adsense clicks and pphLogger data.

As I see no future in showing data as text on a picture, I won't continue development. Just was a funny small project for a rainy Saturday.

If you refresh the information alternating you unfortunately sometimes see the error message "File Error" on the monitor for a second.
